All our Counsellors undergo extensive external supervision and are all accredited working towards that accreditation per BACP Guidelines

Code of Practice

Our team of qualified counsellors all abide by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, (download), published by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Evaluation

Counselling North uses a range of evaluation tools. Apart from external supervision sessions, we use CORE PC - a Clinical Outcomes System for Routine Evaluation of our work. We also have commissioned an independent consultant to evaluate and audit part of our work as an ongoing support function to professional supervision.
